OCAD University's **RBC Centre for Emerging Artists &amp; Designers (CEAD)** is excited to partner again with **Wychwood Barns** to offer a curated group of OCAD U students and recent alumni the opportunity to share a vendor table at the **BAM! Holiday Art Market**.



Looking to sell your work, test new products, and gain real-world market experience before the holiday season? This is your chance to connect with shoppers, build your audience, and be part of one of Toronto's well-loved community art markets.



🗓 **Market Date:** Sunday, November 29, 2026  
⏰ **Time:** 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM  
📍 **Location:** Wychwood Barns



Selected participants will also take part in a **pre-market onboarding workshop** hosted by CEAD to help prepare for the event.



💸 **Keep 100% of your sales.** No commission will be taken by OCAD U or Wychwood Barns.



### **Eligibility**

To apply, you must meet **all** of the following criteria:

- Be a **current OCAD U student** or a **recent alumnus (graduated in 2024 or later)** from any program
- Have a creative practice that produces **small-scale artwork or products for sale**
- Be interested in participating in **pop-up and market-style events**

**Please Note (BAM! Market Guidelines)**



Applicants must present **original artwork**, with the majority of work being original pieces. Limited-run prints and reproductions may be included alongside original work.

Additionally:

- Artists must sell **their own work**. Resale of work made by others is not permitted.
- Work must be **complete and professionally presented**.
- Vendors should demonstrate a readiness to exhibit and sell work in a **gallery and market setting**.

### **Responsibilities**

Selected vendors are expected to:

- Attend a mandatory **online onboarding workshop** (second week of November, date TBD)
- Prepare inventory for the market
- Collaborate with fellow vendors on a shared OCAD U table setup
- Arrange their own transportation and attend the full market day
- Manage their own point-of-sale system (cash, Square, e-transfer, etc.)
- **Submit a short post-event report**

### **Application Requirements**

Applicants must submit:

- Contact information
- Confirmation of eligibility

**Plus one (1) PDF document including:**



**Artist Statement** (max. 250 words)  
Tell us about your practice and the products you plan to sell.



**Learning Statement** (max. 150 words)  
What do you hope to gain from this opportunity? Why are you interested in participating in art markets?



**3–5 Product Images**  
Include images of the artwork or products you intend to sell.



**Image List** for each submission image, including:

- Title
- Size
- Medium
- Year
- Price or price range

*Example:*  
*Rainbow Cloud*, 2 × 1", enamel pin, 2024, $15

*For digital work, please include intended print sizes rather than digital file dimensions.*

**File Naming Format**

`LastName_FirstName_Application_HolidayArtMarket`

**Example:**  
`Kim_Jean_Application_HolidayArtMarket`
