Poster for the international virtual exchange groups

Join the International Programs & Collaborations office (IPCO) in developing your own international virtual club. Whether you're interested in forming a book, film, or art club, creating a group-led podcast, collaborating on a short film, or hosting monthly studio visits, the possibilities are endless. This unique opportunity gives you a chance to share your interests and work alongside an international community of art and design students, all under the guidance of our office.

  • Connect with students globally gaining fresh insights, and boosting your creative motivation
  • Be part of a creative community that offers feedback, and encourages growth
  • Enhance your leadership skills and engage in discussions with like-minded peers.
  • Create a worldwide network for future opportunities
  • OCAD U students will each receive a $200 honourarium for their group support

We are accepting proposals from individuals and groups for ideas themed around new media, art or design disciplines. As a group facilitator, you will be responsible for planning the program content. Our office will support you throughout the entire process of coordinating these virtual gatherings. We will work with you step by step to structure the best format for your group, test virtual platforms, define project goals, and establish connections with community partners, and industry experts.

  • Must revolve around disciplines of new media, art, or design
