OCAD University’s RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers is excited to announce Kenzie Littlelight, Manny Wood Lynes-Ford and Raven Myers as the recipients of the 2026 Sankofa Square Indigenous Student Digital Exhibition Career Launcher! Their works will be displayed across the five digital screens at Sankofa Square for the duration of National Indigenous History Month in June 2026.

Kenzie Littlelight bio:

Kenzie Littlelight is a Tsuu’tina and Blackfoot multidisciplinary artist from Treaty 7 territory. Her work is grounded in her cultural and urban identity, fusing traditional knowledge with digital media to create a visual dialogue between tradition and contemporary Indigeneity. Her practice explores the relationships between past, present, and future, considering how these timelines intersect and inform one another. She works across digital art, sculpture, installation, beadwork, and metalwork. Kenzie is currently studying Sculpture and Installation at OCAD University.

Manny Wood Lynes-Ford bio:

Manny Wood Lynes-Ford is an indigenous photographer from Gitxaala, British Columbia based in Toronto. He specializes in analog photography with a range of mediums from cyanotypes to chromogenic prints in the darkroom. He holds a BFA from OCAD University in photography. Working with themes of decolonization and the Indigenous experience, he draws inspiration from artists such as Fred Herzog and Carl Beam.

Raven Myers bio:

Raven Myers is a queer, time-based artist with Ojibwe, Ukrainian, and British ties. She is currently pursuing a BFA in experimental animation and a minor in Indigenous visual culture at OCAD University, where she embraces tactile mediums through stop-motion animation. Her practice explores how contrasting forces like culture, religion, gender, and land creates tension in the body, relying on storytelling and movement to coexist with the beautiful chaos that arises in these symbiotic relationships.

OCAD U x SickKids Research Institute Exhibition - Call for Artists

OCAD University’s RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers (CEAD) and The Hospital for Sick Children Research Institute (SickKids RI) have partnered to co-create an exhibition in the Great Hall at OCAD University on November 16-27, 2026. The CEAD and SickKids RI are inviting emerging artists to submit existing works for consideration. The responding artworks to be curated will be in dialogue with captivating scientific images or videos from SickKids Research Institute. 7-9 successful artists will each be paid a $500 Artist Fee.
