The Ownr Career Launcher for Creative Entrepreneurs received an overwhelming amount of interest with over 100 applicants in the expression of interest stage of the project. The ten finalists selected will present their business pitch to a panel of jury members on Tuesday, March 16, from 10-11:30 AM ET for a chance to win $1,000 to $4,000 to launch their business. Our jury is comprised of Derek Hopfner, Chief Revenue Officer of Ownr; Jalisa Luces-Mendes, entrepreneur and Founder of Toni Marlow Clothing; Itah Sadu, entrepreneur and co-owner of A Different Booklist; Ilene Sova, Ada Slaight Chair of Contemporary Drawing and Painting at OCADU University; and Dr. Alia Weston, Associate Professor of Creative and Business Enterprise at OCAD University.
