The Student Wellness Centre (SWC) is a multidisciplinary team that provides supportive and accessible mental health and wellness supports for students year-round. These include low barrier options through peer support, limited same day availability, single sessions, and scheduled appointments. ## SWC Programs ### Student Accessibility Services (SAS) [Accessibility Services](/student-services/student-accessibility-services) supports all OCAD U students with temporary and permanent disabilities. Coverage is provided by [Alumo](https://www.studentcare.ca/) (previously known as Studentcare). If you are registered in at least 1.5 credits in both the Fall and Winter Terms, you're automatically opted in to the plan. You can make changes to your coverage during the first month of classes by opting in, opting out, or adding dependents to health and/or dental plans. Find out about [UHIP coverage](https://www.ocadu.ca/student-services/international-students/health-and-medical) and OCAD U’s supplementary health and dental plan, provided by [Alumo](https://www.studentcare.ca/) (previously known as Studentcare). UHIP is a mandatory health plan for all international students studying in Ontario. Alumo offers extra services not covered by UHIP, like dental check-ups and prescription medication.
