Career Launchers are unique, high-profile opportunities designed to support the professional development of emerging creative talent from OCAD University as they transition out of school and into their early careers.
Opportunities including **contract positions, paid internships** and **high-profile commissioned work** are developed with industry partners and created exclusively for OCAD U students and recent graduates.
These unique opportunities provide exposure to the real-world demands of launching a professional creative career, and give students and alumni valuable experience through three streams:
- **Creative opportunities** provide funding for emerging artists and designers to offset material and production costs and offer creators opportunities to showcase their work.
- **Recruited opportunities** offer job opportunities in creative industries and media, arts, culture and heritage organizations.
- **Studio and equipment opportunities** offer funding for materials and access to facilities and workspaces
