# Toronto Outdoor Art Fair

<a id="main-content" tabindex="-1"></a>**Toronto Outdoor Art Fair (TOAF)**, Canada's leading contemporary outdoor art fair, has been happening every second weekend in July since 1961. This year, the works and artists exhibiting at the fair are available to view and purchase online from July 2 to 12. TOAF has always reserved a portion of the Fair to emerging and student artists and has played a role in the emerging careers of many well-known Canadian artists. We’re thrilled to share that a curated selection of **10 recent OCAD U grads** are now featured online as a part of the **Toronto Outdoor Art Fair Career Launcher**. Congratulations to:

As part of the **Centre for Emerging Artists &amp; Designers**, the Career Development office supports the professional development of emerging OCAD U creative talent. The [Career Launchers](https://careerlaunchers.format.com/) program offers unique, high-profile opportunities developed in partnership with industry leaders in order to help senior students and new graduates start their professional practice after school.

The RBC Centre for Emerging Artists &amp; Designers (CEAD) invites OCAD University student groups with a mandate to support entrepreneurship on campus to apply for funding for student-led initiatives that strengthen and expand the creative entrepreneurship ecosystem at OCAD U. This funding is intended to help student groups create opportunities for entrepreneurship skills development, community building, and revenue-generating activities for students and recent alumni, while reducing barriers to participation for equity-seeking individuals.

 [### 2027 Critical Distance Centre for Curators Projections Program Call for Artists

OCAD University’s RBC Centre for Emerging Artists &amp; Designers (CEAD) and Critical Distance Centre for Curators (CDCC) have partnered to co-create CDCC Projections Program Career Launcher. Four (4) to five (5) selected emerging artists will receive $690 to exhibit work in a single channel, projection-based screening program that will be displayed at the CDCC in March 2027.
