Her practice also centres on creating joyful, participatory spaces to amplify marginalized voices and facilitate cross-cultural exchanges. Sin Tung/Steffi’s curatorial work has been featured at the Onsite Gallery, Xpace Cultural Centre, Unit 270 and the Graduate Gallery. As a co-founder of the curatorial collective GAS, she is the recipient of The Delaney Family Emerging Curator’s Prize and the current curator-in-residence at NAMARA Curatorial Studio. Also an emerging photographer, Sin Tung/Steffi works primarily with self-portraits and family archival photos, investigating how time can change one’s features and memories as an immigrant.
