Mitres’s work ranges from gestural, conceptual drawings to paintings, contemporary writing, and digital photo collages. In her visual work, she is inspired by the aesthetic of being an urbanite, the increasing overtake of machinery, and how the fast-paced world contradicts the slow remembrance of nostalgia; fabricating a mechanical blur between the past and present. With her literary work, she uses art writing as conceptual art, merging her curatorial and artistic skills. Mitres has exhibited her work in Toronto, and has her writing published in multiple literary journals and magazines. She graduated from OCADU in 2025 majoring in Criticism and Curatorial studies.
