Cosmography by Michelle Peraza, 2024, 192’’ x 96’’ (in process size), bole (clay) and watercolour paint on amate/amatl (tree bark paper) and linen (India, China, Italy, Belgium and Czech Republic) naturally dyed in soy milk, tamarind, hibiscus, coffee and clay, wild blueberries, pomegranates, ginger, chamomile, cacao and black tea

 Hearty congratulations to the OCAD University alums and faculty who have been recognized with a Craft Award from Craft Ontario!

Craft Ontario, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting professional craftspeople, presents these annual awards to honour outstanding talent and achievement in craft and design.

This year, six OCAD U graduates were among the 19 award recipients. The recipients include:

- **Khadija Aziz** – (2020 alum, Material Art &amp; Design) - Gladstone House Award
- **Isabelle McMahon** – (2025 alum, Material Art &amp; Design) - Leisa Rich Fibre Arts Residency Award at the Contemporary Textile Studio Co-op
- **OCAD U Instructor Michelle Peraza** – (2018 alum, Drawing &amp; Painting) - Helen Frances Gregor Award
- **Minseo Whee** – (2025 alum, Material Art &amp; Design) - JJ Studio Award for Emerging Jewellery Artists
- **Paulina Wiszowata** – (2013 alum, Material Art &amp; Design) - Leisa Rich Fibre Arts Residency Award at the Contemporary Textile Studio Co-op
- **Sarah Zanchetta** – (2018 alum, Drawing &amp; Painting) - Rich Foundation Residency

 [### 2027 Critical Distance Centre for Curators Projections Program Call for Artists

OCAD University’s RBC Centre for Emerging Artists &amp; Designers (CEAD) and Critical Distance Centre for Curators (CDCC) have partnered to co-create CDCC Projections Program Career Launcher. Four (4) to five (5) selected emerging artists will receive $690 to exhibit work in a single channel, projection-based screening program that will be displayed at the CDCC in March 2027.
