In recognition of your thoughtful generosity, you will become a member of The 1876 Heritage Circle.
Named for the year of our founding as the Ontario College of Art in 1876, membership is automatic upon written confirmation of your planned gift intentions. The 1876 Heritage Circle provides recognition for OCAD University donors who have chosen to
create a planned gift (bequest, insurance policy, etc.) to support the long-term future and vision of the University.
Annual and monthly gifts from our alumni, employees, organizations, and friends allow OCAD University to provide our faculty leaders with the ability to respond to ongoing priorities and emerging opportunities.
You can direct your support to any fund within the university, whether it’s a particular faculty or program area that’s meaningful to you. Or you can allow us to determine the greatest need as they arise throughout the school year. Whichever
you choose, no gift is too small to make a profound impact on our students and faculty alike.
Our Art & Design Society celebrates loyal donors who generously give $1,000 or more annually. They play a lead role in pushing boundaries and the future of art and design.
Every year, many OCAD U Faculty and Staff go above and beyond their efforts and make a financial donation, demonstrating to the wider community that we believe in the future and vision of OCAD U. Gifts can be designated and made through
payroll deduction (please download and save PDF to enable fillable feature).

An endowment fund is a permanent, self-sustaining source of funding. With a minimum donation of $25,000 (e.g., $5,000 a year for 5 years), you can establish a permanent named fund in support of an area at OCAD University that is important to you.
Your endowed fund could support a scholarship, bursary, award, academic program or department. When a gift is endowed to the university, the principal cannot be touched and is invested for the long-term. The annual earnings from your gift are distributed
to your designated area of support.
In this way, an endowment fund can grow and provide support for its designated purpose in perpetuity. When you establish an endowment fund, you create a permanent legacy of support for OCAD University.
