Quick Facts on Onsite Gallery’s Accessibility

Onsite Gallery is an accessible venue for visitors with physical disabilities. The gallery is equipped with:

  • a level entrance;
  • two accessible washrooms (all gender);
  • wide and unobstructed pathways within the interior; and
  • automatic doors at the entrance.

There is seating available throughout the gallery.

Printed text in the gallery meets accessibility guidelines (minimum of 12pt font size for ease of readability).

  • Wednesdays: noon to 8 p.m.
  • Thursdays and Fridays: noon to 7 p.m.
  • Saturdays and Sundays: noon to 5 p.m.

The entrance and entire gallery is located on the ground floor.
There is no coat check, but you are welcome to leave belongings at the front desk, which is supervised/staffed at all times.

Washrooms
There are two single, all-gender and wheelchair accessible washrooms equipped with an emergency call button.

Gallery Tours

  • Our student staff work at the front desk have an in-depth understanding with the gallery, exhibition, artists, artworks and upcoming public events. Feel free to approach them with any questions on the gallery or exhibitions.

  • Group tours are available and booked in advance with the Programs Coordinator, Linda Columbus. To request a tour, contact her at lcolumbus@ocadu.ca or 416-977-6000 x456.

  • Every Sunday at 2 p.m. our gallery staff will speak in depth about one work on view. Everyone is welcome to join the conversation.
