On December 4, New York-based curator Barbara London will be in conversation with artists Haru Ji and Eunsu Kang, whose provocative work is featured in the 2019 Korean Media Arts Festival. The three will discuss how technology inspires artists to be fearless about experimenting with evolving tools and advance their practice.

Integrated Media instructor Cliff Caines’ latest film Workhorse will have its world premiere at the 2019 RIDM - Montreal International Documentary Festival.

Monitoring presents twenty art installations out of more than 300 international submissions. It provides a platform for time-based media art in the three-dimensional space as a complement to the film program of the festival. The exhibition at Kasseler Kunstverein investigates, among other things, structures of power and exclusion, order as a social and aesthetic principle, as well as the possibilities and limits of artistic strategies.
