Hosted by the RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers, this workshop will introduce emerging artists and designers to the Business Model Canvas (BMC) while also providing the opportunity to gain feedback and advice from Jaymin Luces-Mendes. You will have the time to think and develop ideas for your creative business, work on your own BMC, engage in discussion with other attendees, and receive mentorship from Jaymin.

Feel free to reach out with questions beforehand to be answered anonymously in the workshop or for tips on how to get the most out of this workshop.

Jaymin Luces-Mendes (they/them) is the founder of Toni Marlow Clothing, and Noire Now. They have a wealth of experience in business development including strategy, innovation, sales, marketing, and social enterprise. As a business leader, consultant, community builder, and board member of Canada's LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC), who is passionate about people and strategy, Jaymin is focused on positively impacting underrepresented communities for social change through entrepreneurship.

This programming is part of a project by OCAD University to incubate and develop a platform that helps artists and designers grow their business online, while developing creative entrepreneurship skills.
