About Amy..."I Grew up on Opaskwayak Cree Nation And I have an intimate understanding the dynamics of living in a rough and remote community. I am one of two children of a residential school survivor and day school survivor and it deeply affected my life in a negative way. I am comfortable sharing about my lifelong struggles with with depression, anger, suicidal ideation andADHD. Spent my adult life focused on my own growth and healing as well as nurturing healing in my own family.I have also created a successful business throughout the pandemic and spend each day sharing in the joy of Native humour with friends around the world through social media. Now, I share my story in hopes to inspire others from all ages and backgrounds. It is my hope to inspire others to embrace their healing, and to dig deep to find their niche that may serve as a coping skill in the present and a key to creating opportunities in the future!"
