DIY Pride Shirt: Wear your Pride

Upcycle some OCAD U merch to show your pride and celebrate your community. In collaboration with the #DisplayYourPride project!

This Pride month OCAD U Admissions & Recruitment is providing OCAD U t-shirts to our community to upcycle and incorporate into your pride outfit.

Step 1: Pick up your OCAD U t-shirt

You can pick up your t-shirt at one of two locations between June 7th and 21st:

  1. Admissions & Recruitment Office – 115 McCaul S. Lower Level 

    Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm

  2. Onsite Gallery - 199 Richmond Street West, Ground Floor, Staff entrance (east of main doors)

    Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 12 pm to 5 pm

 

Step 2: Attend the DIY Pride shirt community craft day!

Date: June 13th

Time: Any time between 11am and 3pm

Location: Admissions & Recruitment Office at 115 McCaul St., lower level

Drop in for an upcycling t-shirt gathering! Enjoy some refreshments and redesign your shirt using supplies provided or bring your own. Crop it, tassel it, fringe it, stencil it, paint-marker it – make it your own! Don't forget to snap a picture and share it with the #DisplayYourPride and #OCADUPride hashtags.

Please be advised that OCAD U hosted events may be documented through photographs and video. These images may be used by the University for promotional, advertising, and educational purposes. By participating in our events, both on campus and off-site, you consent to allowing OCAD University to document and use your image and likeness. However, if you do not want us to use a photo or video of you or your child, please don’t hesitate to let us know when you arrive at the event. You’re also welcome to get in touch with OCAD University’s Marketing & Communications office: communications@ocadu.ca.
