Coffee Chats is a series of casual gatherings with the CEAD team with industry guests. Hosted in small intimate groups, these gatherings will provide a space for group conversations with practitioners who are interested in supporting OCAD U students and grads to offer mentorship, and share their professional insights and journey, while collectively creating a community.
Nikole Hidalgo McGregor is a Peruvian-Canadian new media artist and researcher who focuses on perceptual narrative strategies, digital vs mechanical technologies, and intersectional feminism. Nikole works across various media, including animation, film, photography, sculpture, and installation art. Her projects, known for their multidisciplinary approach, have gained international recognition and exhibition in galleries and film festivals worldwide. Notably, she recently presented her work "Waving at You Through the Screen" at Nuit Blanche Toronto. Nikole holds a master's degree in communication and culture from Toronto Metropolitan University and York University and a BFA in Integrated Media from OCAD University.

115 McCaul St is located at the corner of Dundas St and McCaul St on the southeast side. All levels of the building can be accessed via elevator or stairs. The building is wheelchair accessible. There are gendered washrooms on level 3 and gender-neutral private washrooms on levels 1 & 2.
