Call for Nominations: OCAD U 2020-2021 Teaching Awards
The Call for Nominations for the 2020-2021 Teaching Awards is now open. The awards recognize and celebrate outstanding teaching by dedicated faculty, instructors and teaching assistants. This year, in light of the circumstances around the pandemic, the nomination timeline for the Teaching Awards was shifted to spring 2021. As a result, faculty members and teaching assistants who taught in any of the following four terms are eligible for this year’s awards: Winter 2020, Spring/Summer 2020, Fall 2020 and Winter 2021.
OCAD U students, staff and faculty are all invited to submit their nominations by Friday, May 7, 2021 at 11:59pm.
Nomination Eligibility and Information
- All faculty members and teaching assistants who taught in any of the following four terms are eligible for nomination: Winter 2020, Spring/Summer 2020, Fall 2020, and Winter 2021

OCADU 2020-2021 Teaching Awards Nomination Form
Final results will be announced on the OCAD U website and recipients will be featured on the university's social media and recognized publicly in late August/early September at the Fall 2021 Academic Year Welcome.
The Price Award for Tenured and Tenure-Track Faculty, which acknowledges sustained and ongoing contributions, leadership and excellence in teaching is presented in honour of JH and Mamie Price.
