Cultural Policy Hub

WELCOME TO THE CULTURAL
POLICY HUB

A vibrant and dynamic network of researchers and partner organizations from across Canada, dedicated to interpreting and improving the accessibility of cultural policy discussion, design, development, and capacity-building.

The Hub aims to fill a sector gap by facilitating a community of practice, and by being a repository for knowledge exchange, translation and mobilization.

Housed at OCAD University, this collaborative Hub is anchored in the rigour of an established research and education environment to ensure its legacy and sustainability. OCAD U is uniquely positioned as both a postsecondary educational institute and major cultural sector player and collaborator. The Hub leverages the University’s history, reputation and resources including faculty, staff and networks.

By convening a vast national network, the Hub strives to strengthen and cement the future of Canada’s arts and culture sector, expanding cultural policy research and collaboration, while establishing and fostering bold program experimentation.
