Congratulations on your offer of admission from OCAD U! To move forward with your offer, review and follow the next steps below.

MEET THESE DEADLINES

RESPOND TO YOUR OFFER

DEADLINE: JUNE 1, 2018

Confirm that you would like to accept your offer of admission by June 1, 2018 through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC).

Ontario Secondary School applicants (OUAC101) can find instructions on how to respond to the offer here.

All other applicants (OUAC105) can find instructions on how to respond to the offer here.

PAY THE CONFIRMATION DEPOSIT

DEADLINE: JUNE 8, 2018

Ensure you pay the $500 CAD confirmation deposit to secure your seat. There are a number of ways to pay such as telephone banking, cheque or money order, in-person payments, and international payments such as Western Union or GlobalPay for Students.

SUBMIT ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

RECOMMENDED DEADLINE: JULY 16, 2018

FINAL DEADLINE: AUGUST 15, 2018

To satisfy the conditions of your offer of admission, you must provide all required official documents to meet the academic entrance requirements. You can review your applicant portal to see what required documents you still need to send in.

ATTEND GRADEX 103 AS A SPECIAL GUEST

Join us as our special guest to our Graduate Exhibition (GradEx 103) on Saturday May 5, 2018. Our annual celebration of graduating students is the largest art, design and media exhibition by students in Canada. Join us to be inspired and connect with your future creative classmates, support staff, and faculty.

JOIN US FOR REGISTRATION ASSISTANCE DAY (RAD)

OCAD U invites applicants who accept their offer of admission to sign up for a Registration Assistance Day (R.A.D.). This event is designed to help new undergraduate students prepare for registration – and the year ahead.

UNDERSTAND THE LAPTOP PROGRAM

The Laptop Program is unique to OCAD U. It tailors software support to the program you applied to for all students. All students entering undergraduate studies at OCAD University are required to bring a recommended laptop computer with them to University.

AN INTERNATIONAL APPLICANT

SUBMIT YOUR STUDY PERMIT/STUDENT VISA

DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 4, 2018

Valid Study Permits/Student Visas must be submitted to the Admissions & Recruitment office by September 4, 2018 for verification. Please visit the Citizenship & Immigration Canada website for further details on immigration applications.

APPLY FOR THE EAD PROGRAM (OPTIONAL)

DEADLINE: JUNE 8, 2018

The English for Art and Design (EAD) program is an optional summer program for ESL students entering first year at OCAD University. As a student at OCAD University this fall, you will be speaking English constantly, in class and outside of class. You will work on group projects, discuss and debate with students and faculty, and make presentations about your work in English. English for Art and Design will help you prepare.

ENGAGE WITH INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SERVICES

International Student Services ensures international students, exchange students and all students wishing to make meaningful global connections have access to innovative services, programs and activities that are responsive to their needs and assist them in becoming successful practitioners in the fields of art and design.

AN APPLICANT WHO PREVIOUSLY ATTENDED COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY OR COMPLETED IB/AP COURSES

APPLY FOR TRANSFER CREDIT

DEADLINE: August 1, 2018 - deadline to submit requests for required fall term courses

DEADLINE: November 15, 2018 - deadline to submit requests for required winter term courses

DEADLINE: August 31, 2019 - Final deadline to submit requests for new students

Students who have attended an accredited post-secondary institution or who have completed International Baccalaureate (IB) or Advanced Placement (AP) courses may apply for transfer credit. If you would like your previously completed courses considered, please review details about Prior Learning Assessment, submit a Transfer Credit Request Form and all required documents.
