Chung was selected in the Illustration category for his work Ethnomöbius: The Paradox of Culture, which illustrates the paradox of culture by comparing eastern cultural practices viewed as eccentric and extreme to western conventions with uncanny similarities.

2013 Graphic Design graduates Vickie Fu and Isrene Shao were finalists in the Packaging category for their redesign of packaging for GE Lightbulbs. The packaging uses the minimum amount of materials while maintaining the original brand identity.

Grand prize winners receive Adobe software, a cash prize of $3000 (USD), an invitation to participate in the 2014 Adobe MAX held in Los Angeles and mentorship.
