Virginia Trieloff is President of OCAD University Alumni Association, a not-for-profit organization founded in 1972. The Association provides a social network to engage and serve OCAD University’s community of artists and designers, to encourage and support affiliation and partnerships within its group and to provide support for OCAD University's staff and students.
Virginia’s corporate career in Canada began in 1975 at the Toronto office of Arthur Erickson Architects and closed as Vice President, Administration & Investor Relations for Ventures Resource Inc. (delisted 2005) a Barbados IBC; NASDAQ/TSX-V (Toronto) listed, with an operating U.S. subsidiary, Ventures Resource Alaska Corporation.
A Barbadian of German heritage, educated in Switzerland, England and Canada, (industrial design, Surrey College of Art & Design, UK and fine arts, OCAD University (BFA, 2005)) Virginia organizes and curates the biennial OCAD University Alumni Exhibition and mentors recent OCADU graduates with employment in her corporate curator consultancy.
While maintaining her principal residence in Toronto, Virginia spends the summers in Renews, Newfoundland restoring traditional saltbox houses for rentals and hosting artists at her Studio.
Virginia is professional member of the Toronto Arts & Letters Club (est. 1908) and Women’s Arts Association of Canada (est. 1892)
