SERVICES
A Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner (PHCNP) will be available during office hours from September to April to provide the following services:
- assessment, diagnosis and treatment of acute episodic illness using complementary and conventional approaches
- annual physical and health exams, including PAP tests for females
- crisis counselling
- confidential health and wellness counselling
- stress/anxiety/body image counselling
- immunizations (flu clinics, allergy/vitamin/hepatitis B/tetanus injections, etc.)
- referral service to other health care providers
- Verification of Illness Certificates
Accessing Services
In order to provide a high quality of health care, it is recommended that you have scheduled appointments. To access counselling services, you will need an initial visit with the Nurse Practitioner.
