STUDENT INSURANCE PLANS

Health & Wellness

The Health and Wellness Centre provides medical and counseling services to OCAD U students. A Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner are available daily by appointment or on a drop-in basis for urgent care. Mental health clinicians provide counseling services, and physicians are also available by appointment for medical care.

The Health & Wellness office also coordinates the Health & Dental Plans that all full-time students (registered in 4.0 credits or more) are automatically enrolled in (part-time optional).

International Student Services Office (ISSO)

The International Student Services Office ensures international students have access to innovative services, programs, activities and opportunities that are responsive to their needs, assisting them towards becoming successful practitioners in the fields of Art & Design.

The ISSO also coordinates the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP), a mandatory basic health plan for all international students and incoming exchange students. Questions regarding UHIP can be directed to the ISSO.
