POLICIES, PROCEDURES, CONFIDENTIALITY
Privacy and Confidentiality
The services of the CSD are strictly confidential. Permission forms must be signed by students to allow the centre to share information with others, such as faculty, OCAD staff, parents and so on. All of our services conform to the confidentiality policies of OCAD.
Privacy and Protection of Health And Medical Information
The CSD center and it's staff are committed to following the principles outlined under all relevant health documentation privacy and retention policies.
OCAD Accessibility Planning Committee
Accessibility Plan
The Ontario College of Art & Design is committed to the continual improvement of access to school premises, facilities and services for students, employees and other members of the community with disabilities. The OCAD Accessibility Planning Committee has prepared Accessibility Plans as set out by the Ontarians With Disabilities Act (2001). Copies of the OCAD Accessibility Plan in paper format are available at the Dorothy H. Hoover Library (113 McCaul Street).

OCAD Policy
“OCAD is committed to developing a partnership with students to ensure that their individual needs are met with dignity. The CSD recognizes the right of all individuals to have equal access to the full barrier-free learning environment through the use of expertise, innovative administration and progressive curriculum. Towards this end, the CSD encourages students to actively participate in the development of services and programs that provide them with an appropriate educational experience.”
