DISABILITY CATEGORIES

The Centre for Students with Disabilities provides support and services to students registered at OCAD University who are enrolled in full time studies, part time studies, continuing education courses or any other course of study offered by OCAD U.

Services will be offered to students who have disibilities in the following categories (please note this is not an exhaustive list):

• Acquired brain injury
• ADD/ADHD
• Chronic medical/systemic
• Deaf, deafened and hard of hearing
• Learning disabilities
• Blind/low vision
• Mobility/functional
• Aspergers/autism spectrum disorder
• Psychiatric/mental health

If you have a disability that you feel is not reflected in these categories please come in to see us.

Access to our services requires medical documentation from an appropriate specialist confirming diagnosis and recommending academic accommodations.
