OCAD University Career Exploration-Networking Group
WHY JOIN US? We talk. We share. We help each other. And you just might find a great job! Here are some examples: Gap Adventures is looking for a Catalogue Designer; Leonardo Galleries is looking for a Picture Framer & Art Salesperson. You don't necessarily have to be looking for a job; you may want to look at such postings just to get a little WoW! (World of Work) knowledge.
Sign in to Facebook, search groups for OCAD U Career Exploration-Networking Group. (Please do not join as a friend, as this status will not be available on this professional group page.) You will receive a confirmation and have access to read and write on the Wall. Career Services will post announcements, hot jobs and, hopefully, students and alumni will exchange industry and networking information and expertise. Please do join us. Think down the road when this will be THE FORUM where a true mentoring model for artists and designers (417 members strong on Monday, March 21, 2011) will exist! A student is a teacher in training; a teacher is a student forever!
