COURSE CALENDARS

RESUMÈS, COVER LETTERS, PORTFOLIOS

AND WEB PRESENCE

These documents are the last thing you should be thinking about when exploring career options. A lot of preparation needs to come before working on these materials. If you approach this final stage of career exploration in the right way, you can easily and confidently turn any interview into a comfortable conversation. That is the real objective of any successful, targeted cover letter or resumé: to have made the connection before even beginning to prepare your documents.

You should look at all these samples. There are advantages and disadvantages to each format. Take what you need from each, and format your own, unique, targeted document.

If you need writing assistance, grammar, syntax, transition, coherence please contact the Writing & Learning Centre. If you are wondering: What is keywording? What is a targeted resumé? Should I be using a chronological or functional format? please contact your Career Advisor at About Us.
