Follow the links below in order to review all of the elements you will need to consider at the various stages of your academic career at OCAD University. The information listed further down the page includes links to the various service areas you will need to access during the "student lifecycle."

- Apply for transfer of credits if you attended another postsecondary institution
- Review your program guide and register for your courses
- Understand student policies
- Meet with a Student Advisor if you are an advanced standing student or have received transfers of credits
- Apply for OSAP or other loans
- Pay your student fees and tuition
- Register at the Centre for Students with Disabilities if this applies to you
- Set up with the Laptop Program

- Review your 100 Level requirements and understand your Liberal Arts & Sciences requirements
- Did you receive transfers of credits? Find out how they affect your 100 Level requirements by visiting the appropriate Faculty office
- Import into your Google Calendar all the dates and deadlines
- Understand student policies
- Read course descriptions and understand course prerequisites and anti-requisites
- Register for your courses
- Double check that you are registered in the correct courses
- Get involved at OCAD U

- Print your program guide for your major (and minor if applicable), to keep and use as a checklist
- Review your 200 Level program requirements and understand your Liberal Arts & Sciences requirements
- Did you receive transfers of credits? Find out how they affect your 200 Level requirements by visiting the appropriate Faculty office
- Do you need to make up for any 100 level courses?
- Consider pursuing a minor
- Import into your Google Calendar all of the dates and deadlines
- Understand student policies
- Read course descriptions and understand course prerequisites and anti-requisites
- Register for your courses
- Double check that you are registered in the correct courses
- Explore career options
- Become a Peer Mentor
- Get involved at OCAD U

- Review courses and marks to double check registration for final courses and completion of all degree requirements
- Download or pick up the Graduation Application form at Office of the Registrar before the posted deadlines
- Make two copies of the completed Graduation Application form
- Keep one completed copy and take one copy with the fee to the Office of the Registrar before posted deadlines
