Academic Integrity Workshop

Learning how to use and cite visual and textual sources can be challenging. This workshop provides clarity around how sources can be used, why they should be documented, and how to document them appropriately. It will introduce you to some practical strategies for tracking your visual and textual research, reading, note-taking and paraphrasing that can help you effectively integrate your research into your writing and making processes.

COMPASS Program for First Generation Students

COMPASS is a two-day orientation specifically for first generation students, that is, students whose parents did not attend university, or did not attend university in Canada. Meet other students, faculty, and upper year students and get a head start at OCAD University. We will be doing a mock critique, discussing time management strategies, learning more about your program and getting to know the campus.

We recommend that you attend both days as each day has different activities.  However, if you can only attend one day, that is not a problem! Lunch and snacks will be provided.
