Booking an appointment
The Writing & Learning Centre is now using a new online appointment booking system called TutorTrac. On this system you can:
- Make an appointment with a WLC tutor.
- Manage your bookings.
- Make changes to upcoming appointments.

Only one appointment with a WLC tutor is allowed per week. Students can make up to three appointments at one time.
To cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours before a scheduled appointment, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Two or more missed appointments may result in suspension of booking privileges at the WLC.
If a student is going to be late an appointment, the WLC should be contacted. The appointment will be held for no more than 30 minutes for students who have contacted the Centre prior to their appointment time. If a student is late and has not contacted the Centre, the appointment may be offered to another student on the waitlist after 15 minutes.
Confidentiality policy and third-party bookingsAll student information, including appointment bookings and anything discussed with a tutor, is kept confidential. The WLC will not disclose to anyone, including a faculty member, whether or not a student has accessed our services.
Faculty members, cannot book appointments for students however can recommend a student visit the Writing & Learning Centre.
All of the WLC programs and services are voluntary and confidential.
