Requesting transcripts

An academic transcript is a confidential document and may only be issued at the signed, written request of the student or alumnus. All official grades recorded in the student record will be reported on the transcript. Grades for a current semester will not be recorded until officially released, approximately one month after the end of semester. Students may opt to have their transcript request held until grades are released.

Students or alumni can request transcripts based on two service priority levels:

Regular Service, $12 per transcript

1990 to present, allow 7 to 10 business days
Pre-1990, allow up to 4 weeks

Express Service, $24 per transcript*

1990 to present only, issued within one business day
Pre-1990, service not available

*Express Service is not available during the first two weeks and the last two weeks of the fall and winter semesters.

Transcripts may be requested in person, by mail**, by fax at 416-977-4201 or by email to regservices@ocadu.ca (not by telephone), using the Transcript Request Form (PDF).

**Please address any requests sent by mail to: Office of the Registrar, OCAD University, 100 McCaul Street, Toronto, Ontario M5T 1W1.
