RAD

RAD (Registration Assistance Days) at OCAD University are held each year in late June or early July, and are coordinated by the Office of the Registrar.

RAD are designed to help new undergraduate students (first-year and upper-year) prepare for registration — and the year ahead.

Daily Schedule

Each day's schedule runs from approximately 9:00 a.m.1:30 p.m. and will begin at 100 McCaul St., Level 2.

Participants should plan to attend for the full 4.5 hours in order to meet OCAD U staff, get to know some classmates, tour the community and campus, plan and schedule fall 2017 and winter 2018 courses, and more!

RAD for Graduate Students 2017

Graduate Students can attend Registration Assistance Day to learn about course selection and receive help registering in their required courses. Contact the Graduate Studies Office at gradstudies@ocadu.ca to confirm your attendance.

Parents & Family

Parents/family/guardians are welcome at RAD too!

A one-hour (informal) presentation is scheduled daily at 10:00 a.m.–11 a.m., where parents/family/guardians can meet faculty and staff, and ask questions.

  • Prepare for fall 2017 and winter 2018 registration.
  • Meet upper-year volunteer student peer mentors.
  • Connect with your peers, OCAD U faculty and staff.

  • Visit the Mini Expo and find out about student-run groups, university services and housing options.

Do I have to attend RAD?

Attending a RAD session is optional.

Can I attend RAD on a different date, or attend more than once?

If you would like to attend RAD on a date other than the one for your program let us know by emailing regservices@ocadu.ca and we will try our best to accommodate you.
