GUIDE TO ADMISSIONS
All applicants apply through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) by February 1 of the year of intended enrollment.
Note: new applications are still being accepted for the Digital Futures Undergraduate program and the Aboriginal Visual Culture Undergraduate program.
OUAC processes your application and transmits it electronically to OCAD University.
OCAD U acknowledges receipt of your application by email and advises you of the date, time and location of your portfolio assessment.
Portfolio assessments are held primarily during OCAD U’s Study Week in February each year. Your portfolio must be prepared before this time.
If you are a successful applicant, you will receive a conditional offer of admission beginning in April, which must be accepted through OUAC.
OCAD U makes offers of admission based on your portfolio and available academic grades. All offers are conditional upon the completion of the admission process (meeting academic requirements and submitting necessary documents).
OUAC will electronically notify OCAD U that you have accepted your offer of admission.
OCAD U will send you correspondence that will include important dates, deadlines and information about online registration.
