COURSE CALENDARS

MINORS

Welcome to our New Ecology of Learning (NEL) at OCAD U. The NEL gives students more flexibility to construct a program of study that responds to their particular interests and needs. As a first step we introduced studio and Liberal Studies minors into the curriculum in March 2008.

Minors give students the opportunity to pursue a secondary field of study without compromising their major field. They consist of 3.0 to 5.0 credits in disciplinary or interdisciplinary subjects. Students taking a minor will normally complete 20.0 credits for their major and an additional 1.0 to 3.0 credits to complete all the courses required for their minor. (See Framework Policy for Minors and FAQS for full details.)
