Lightweight Weigh-in: 9:30 a.m.
Lightweight Preliminaries: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Main event: 1:30 to 4 p.m.

Auditorium, 100 McCaul Street, Toronto
Admission is free for contestants, $5 for non-contestants, $2 for students, children under the age of 10 get in FREE!
One of the most anticipated annual events at OCAD U, the SUMO Robot Challenge features homemade robots in competitions ranging from dancer/painter, autonomous, and full out head-to-head combat!
Long before the proliferation of robot wars and other similar robotic events that are commonplace today, the SUMO Robot Challenge has invited OCAD U artists, designers, local high school students and the general public to compete against each other in competitions that push the limits of their imaginations, electronic, mechanical and fabrication skills. Started in 1992, the SUMO Robot Challenge is an adrenalin-packed event that is not to be missed!
This event is open to the OCAD U community and the general public. All proceeds raised go towards scholarships for OCAD U students.

Kim Fullerton from AKIMBO Art Promotions & Consulting has graciously donated cash prizes for this year’s winners in the following categories:
- "Classic" B Class: $125.00
- "Clever" C Class: $125.00
- "Lightweight" L Class: $125.00
- "Autonomous" F Class: $75.00
- "Dancer/Painter" D Class: $75.00
- Audience Choice Award: $50.00
