NEED AN ALTERNATIVE FOR COURSE PACKS?

There are several alternatives to using coursepacks; you may:

  • Place personal copies or library-owned material on Reserve; see Course Reserves Guide
    • OR
  • create persistent links to licensed OCAD U Library e-journals and e-books. You can link to these from course readings lists, syllabi or course outlines loaded in Canvas.  Try creating your own links with our guide: E-Reserve Creating Links.   Contact Lindsay Gibb, E-Reserves Technician, lgibb@ocadu.ca for assistance.
    • OR
  • use works in the public domain (works for which copyright has expired, such as Internet Archive), or works licensed under Creative Commons
    • OR
  • use Open Access resources such as Directory of Open Access Journals
