Since 1975, Ontario, in partnership with Ontario’s publicly-assisted universities, has encouraged excellence in graduate studies at the master's and doctoral levels through the awarding of Ontario Graduate Scholarships (OGS). OGS awards are merit-based scholarships available to students in all disciplines of academic study. The OGS program is jointly funded by the Province of Ontario and Ontario universities.
Please note that this information pertains to the OGS application process at OCAD University only. Each university defines its own process and sets its own deadlines. Students must apply for the award at the university where they plan to attend graduate studies. The OGS is not transferrable between universities.
The scholarship is valued at $5,000 per academic term for either two or three consecutive terms and is open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and international students in Canada on a student visa.
The application deadlines are as follows:
Before you apply we recommend you review the complete OGS Guidelines. Please ensure all required documentation and forms listed below are complete and submitted by the deadlines.
