Naming a scholarship, award or bursary

Option 1: Supported by annual gifts — minimum $5,000
Donors may name a scholarship, award or bursary with a minimum commitment of at least $5,000. Many of our donors opt to donate $1,000 per annum for five years. The named scholarship, award or bursary would be given out for as long as the donor wishes to renew their support.

Donors may permanently name a scholarship, award, or bursary with a commitment of $25,000 or higher (may be pledged up to five years). This capital which would be endowed (i.e., invested in order to generate annual income) and monies from the investment income only are disbursed annually to the recipients in perpetuity based on the university’s payout rate (currently set at 3.5 per cent).
