PRIVACY AND INFORMATION STATEMENT FOR ALUMNI
OCAD University is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information of its alumni and supporters.
All OCAD University graduates are members of the OCAD University Alumni Association. After convocation, the information provided on your Graduation Information Form is transferred to the Alumni Association so that OCAD U can send you alumni newsletters (free of charge) and other forms of communication, including information about events, activities, services and benefits, along with opportunities to support the school.
During the course of our various activities, we gather and use personal information. Your personal information is treated in agreement with our privacy policy and applicable legislation. Your information is kept in confidence and safeguards are in place to ensure that information is not disclosed or shared more widely than is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was gathered. We also take measures to make certain the integrity of this information is maintained and to prevent it from being lost or destroyed.
If you would like to opt out of receiving information from OCAD U’s third-party affinity partners about alumni benefits, and would like your information to remain solely with the university, or your personal information cease to be used/disclosed for fundraising purposes, please print out this preferences form and mail it back to us, or call us at 416-977-6000, Ext. 4880.
