At OCAD University, you will join a community of creative students who are the artists, designers, inventors and cultural leaders of the future, guided and inspired by Canada’s best talent. Our programs combine the experimental freedom of our hands-on studio environment with theoretical perspectives that develop your capacities for writing, analysis and critical thinking.

Interested in applying to OCAD U? We are now accepting late applications for several of our undergraduate programs at the first year level for the 2015/2016 academic year. 

Available Programs: Advertising, Criticism & Curatorial Practice, Cross-Disciplinary Art (Life Studies or Publications), Digital Futures, Drawing & Painting (specialization in Digital Painting & Expanded Animation available), Graphic Design, Indigenous Visual Culture, Industrial Design, Integrated Media (specialization in Digital Painting & Expanded Animation available), Material Art & Design (Fibre or Jewellery/Metalsmithing), Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture/Installation and Visual and Critical Studies.

Please note: we are not able to consider any further applications for our Environmental Design or Illustration programs. We are also not able to consider any further applications for upper year placement or through articulation agreements. 

Apply Online: All applications must be submitted online through the Ontario Universities Application Centre at www.ouac.on.ca and must be received by April 24, 2015.

Submitting your Portfolio: All portfolios must be submitted through SlideRoom and must be submitted by April 26, 2015. Please review the portfolio preparation guidelines for details on creating your submission.

Academic Requirements: Please remember, all offers of admission based on the portfolio assessment are conditional on meeting academic requirements. Please be sure to visit the Academic Requirements section of our website to ensure that you understand the minimum academic entrance requirements.
