About WID Fellows

Writing in the Disciplines (WID) Fellows are OCAD U instructors drawn from each Faculty. They play a lead role in the Writing Across Curriculum (WAC) Initiative at OCAD University. The Fellows sit on the WAC Steering Committee and provide support for the implementation of WID courses within their Faculty. They also collaborate on events to share teaching resources and engage in professional learning with colleagues.

Student involvement is also key to the success of the initiative. A WID Student Fellow sits on the WAC Steering Committee to help guide implementation from a student perspective. The Student Fellow also collaborates with faculty and writing specialists to develop programming and resources for students and to showcase the role of writing in creative practice.
