Kaveh Ashourinia is a communication designer and educator with over 15 years of experience across the Middle East and North America. His practice spans editorial design, time-based media, photography, and typography, with a focus on multi-script typographic systems and the visual representation of underrepresented and historical writing traditions. His research sits at the intersection of multiscriptual design, communication theory, and community-driven, bottom-up approaches to design practice.

Kaveh holds degrees in Graphic Design and Inclusive Design from OCAD University, and completed a post-master's residency at ANRT in Nancy, France, where his research centred on the typographic representation of the Proto-Elamite script.

He currently teaches in OCAD University's Graphic Design and the Master of Inclusive Design programs.
