About Project Chroma
Chroma- noun
1. the purity of a color, or its freedom from white or gray
2. intensity of distinctive hue; saturation of a color
Project Chroma is all about helping make OCAD University as colourful and exciting an environment as possible for our students, faculty and staff, by minimizing the gray and mundane generally associated with administrative information systems.
The next generation of information system at OCAD U will help free students from the current colorless and confusing processes associated with applying, registering and tracking degree progress for graduation. Project Chroma will allow students to focus their energies on the broad spectrum of creative opportunities available at the University of the Imagination; provide faculty access to the data needed to effectively plan enrolment targets, and identify students who need academic assistance in real time; assist staff in automating many manual tasks and processes tied to the current information systems, and much more. Important individual information will be readily available to students and staff in a self-service format with a focus on user-friendly service and support and the simplification of complicated administrative processes.
