VIRTUAL STUDIOS
1. Log in to My Courses.
2. You will see a list of your courses. To go to the Virtual Studio page, click on the studio link in the page header.
The Virtual Studio page has three main sections:
• My Virtual Studios: These are the Virtual Studios that you own and moderate
• Virtual Studios I am a Member of: These are the private Virtual Studios you belong to. You can post files, images and messages, and add members.
• All Public Studios: You can only read the content in these studios. All students and faculty can browse these studios but cannot post content.
To create a new Virtual Studio
• Click on the Create new link underneath the Virtual Studio header.
• You'll be presented with a list of terms and conditions that you must agree to in order to continue. • Click on the "I agree to the terms" link.
You will be taken through a series of steps to create your own Virtual Studio:
• Step 1 will ask you to give a name and description for your studio, and select whether it is public or private. You can change this later if you need to.
• In Step 2, you'll be able to add members to your new Virtual Studio. In this example, we'll add the students in one of your classes.
• Click on "I want to add my course, or students in my class", then select the course you want to add from the list. This will take you to a list showing the students enrolled in that class.
• Step 3: You can either select individual students by checking the box to the left of each name, or scroll down to the bottom of the list and check the "Select All" option. Once you're done, click on "Submit" to complete the process.
You're done creating your new Virtual Studio!
