Wireless Network on Campus

All floors in all the buildings on campus have wireless access. Download our wireless access map for locations of all the wireless access points on campus.  Note that all wireless access and the use are governed by our current policies.

Types of Wireless Networks

OCAD University Wireless Network (ocad)
Students in the Laptop Program, Faculty and Staff with a valid OCAD U account are automatically added to this wireless network.

Access to Internet, OCAD University File Share Drives and Print Services

Eduroam Network (Eduroam)
OCAD University is part of Eduroam. Eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. Eduroam allows travelling students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions.

Access to Internet services with HTTP, HTTPS and VPN. No Access to OCAD U File Share and Print Services.

Guest Network (ocad-guest)
For any individuals or groups who require guest wireless access (and who are not Eduroam members) must complete the Guest Wireless Access Form.  Note requests should be submitted at least one week prior to arriving on campus.

Access to Internet services with HTTP, HTTPS and VPN. No Access to OCAD U File Share and Print Services.
