Documentation of Materials and Artists Work:
The artists, alumni, faculty, staff and students at OCAD University produce original and breathtaking work in many different forms, including sculptures, paintings, photographs, images, audio-visual and digital works, models, fabrications and design prototypes, just to name a few.
OCAD U may request to use these “Works and Materials” to showcase an artist, or for academic endeavours, advertising and promotion of OCAD U. Should the university wish to use your work, we will request your authorization through the release "Documentation of Materials and Artist’s Work" (PDF).

Documentation at Events:
OCAD University hosts many events throughout the year that invite members of the public to participate. These include guest lectures, the annual Graduate Exhibition, convocation ceremonies, fundraising events and so on.
The university documents these events using a variety of media, including video, photography, audio recordings etc. As such, a person’s likeness may be reproduced in materials that highlight the university’s academic endeavours, advertising and promotion.
Should you be organizing an event, with the intent of capturing a person likeness (for example celebrities attending events, a guest lecturer, children's art camps etc.), please ensure that these individuals are asked to sign the "Documentation at Events Release" (PDF).
