PANDEMIC PLANNING
A pandemic is a unique exposure that could have considerable long term implications and therefore, is given specific consideration within OCADU’s Emergency Preparedness Plan (EPP). OCADU’s Pandemic Preparedness Team (PPT), Chaired by the VP Finance & Administration and administered by the Director Risk Management has representatives from administrative and academic departments who will respond as required. The mandate of the PPT is to develop strategies to ensure academic programs and administrative functions can continue, where possible, and to support the University community to cope with a more severe flu outbreak should one arise. Infection control supplies are being stored on campus, in the event of an emergency. For more specific details visit the Health & Wellness section of the website.
