Eligiblity
Administrative Staff and Managers
- Permanent administrative staff and managers working at least 21 hours per week for at least 36 weeks over each 12-month period.
Faculty
- Tenured, Tenure-track, Probationary, Continuing and CLTA Faculty
Academic Staff
- Probationary and Permanent Technicians and Academic Counsellors
Group Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) and LTD are mandatory for all eligible employees. Extended Health and Dental coverage are mandatory for all eligible employees unless they have coverage elsewhere. All group benefits are effective the first day of the month following their date of permanent employment.

Claims may be submitted to GWL online or by mail, within six months of the date the expense was incurred.
