Sally Cumming, AOCA, BA
Sally Cumming, AOCA, BA graduated from the Ontario College of Art & Design in Drawing and Painting and studied stained glass under Gustav Weisman. At the University of Toronto she studied under Colin Campbell, and noted First Nations artists Rodney Bobiwash and Mary Fox. Ms. Cumming worked at the University of Toronto in student services, admissions and scholarships in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering before taking early retirement in 2005. She served on numerous university committees as a Presidential appointee, was Vice-President of the Faculty Club, and was instrumental in helping to establish access programs for elementary and high school students, First Nations access initiatives and special programs for women in engineering and the economically disadvantaged. She is Past President of the OCAD Alumni Association and has served on Academic Council, Academic Planning & Priorities, and the OCAD Foundation as well as several search committees.
